Hi I’m Jo, a storyteller creating narratives through pixels, images and words.
Creativity has always been my compass, whether I'm souveniring life through the lens or breathing life into visual stories through graphic design. My journey began in the education and finance sectors, where I refined my skills as a graphic designer. This rich industry experience, combined with my foundational design skills, cultivated with the guidance of RMIT’s design stalwarts, led me to establish my own design business.
I thrive on collaborating with clients, partnering with them to turn their creative visions into reality. For me, communication is the cornerstone of success. There’s immense satisfaction in guiding a project from initial concept to final completion.
My inspiration draws from diverse sources.
On-screen: The art of typography fascinates me with its limitless ability to engage audiences. I am captivated by opening sequences crafted by wildly creative motion graphic artists. Equally, I am intrigued by the power of white space, which leaves the viewer contemplating and questioning… and sometimes wanting to fill the space!
Off-screen: Living in Melbourne, Australia, is a blessing - a destination that fuels endless creativity and innovation for creatives. Design is all around us, everything we see is designed – from vibrant urban landscape, with its blend of historic architecture to cutting-edge street art and diverse cultural influences . Oh and then there’s the wonder of our natural world: a constant, ever-changing inspiration continually captivating us with its beauty, efficiency and innovation.
Based in bayside Melbourne, Australia, I greet each day with a heartfelt commitment to creating meaningful connections with people. Each day, I grab my trusty camera and chase sunsets, finding inspiration in the ever-changing, vibrant landscapes of the season. Every sunset reminds me that no two days are the same, just as no two brands should be the same…this constant evolution fuels my creativity.
